Our own east-to-west circuit: Gangtok with the Tsomgo Lake road, then across South Sikkim — Temi, Samdruptse and Char Dham — to Pelling for the monasteries and the Kanchenjunga view.

Day by day

  1. Day 1: NJP / Bagdogra to Gangtok

    about 120 km, 5 hrs Night in Gangtok

    Met on arrival at NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport and driven up to Gangtok. Check in; the rest of the day is free.

  2. Day 2: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

    about 55 km each way Night in Gangtok

    The excursion east to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. If the road is closed for landslide or weather, alternative sightseeing is provided.

  3. Day 3: Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi

    about 150 km, 5 hrs Night in Pelling

    On to Pelling, stopping at Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and the Siddhesvara Dham (Char Dham) at Namchi.

  4. Day 4: Pelling, a full day

    local Night in Pelling

    Morning: Darap village, Rimbi Falls, Khecheopalri Lake and the Kanchenjunga Falls. Afternoon: Pemayangtse Monastery, the Rabdentse ruins and the skywalk.

  5. Day 5: Pelling to NJP / Bagdogra

    about 136 km, 5 hrs Departure

    After breakfast, the departure transfer to NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport.

  • Extra costs from landslides, road closures, strikes or flight changes
  • Travel insurance and room-heater charges

What sets the price

We do not publish a fixed price, because the same itinerary costs very differently in May and in February, in a standard room and a mountain-view suite. Your quote depends on:

  • SeasonSpring, autumn and holidays cost more than the quiet months.
  • Hotel categoryStandard, deluxe or premium, and whether rooms face the view.
  • VehicleSedan, SUV or a larger vehicle for groups; reserved or shared.
  • Group sizeMore travellers share the vehicle and lower the cost per head.
  • Add-onsZero Point, Nathu La, the toy train or a guide where needed.
